Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Pleasant Valley). Everything went their way against the Gaston Bulldogs on Tuesday as they made off with a 23-9 win. The result was nothing new for the Raiders, who have now won 13 games by six runs or more so far this season.

Pleasant Valley pushed their record up to 24-9 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.5 runs over those games. As for Gaston, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-9-1.
