Basketball Game Preview: Hampden Broncos vs. Bangor Rams

The Hampden Broncos will head out on the road to square off against the Bangor Rams at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Hampden will be strutting in after a win while Bangor will be coming in after a defeat.

On Friday, Hampden was able to grind out a solid victory over Brewer, taking the game 59-52.

Meanwhile, Bangor was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 15th straight loss. They lost 66-42 to Edward Little. While losing is never fun, the Rams can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Maine basketball rankings (they are ranked 100th, while the Red Eddies are ranked 29th).

Hampden is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 12-4 record this season. As for Bangor, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-15.

Hampden beat Bangor 51-41 in their previous matchup back in January. The rematch might be a little tougher for Hampden since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
