Basketball Recap: Central Heights Snaps Four-Game Streak of Wins at Home

Central Heights was the 47-40 winner over Diboll when they last played one another back in December of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Central Heights Blue Devils took a 32-28 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Diboll Lumberjacks. The contest marked the Blue Devils' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Central Heights' defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 11-8. As for Diboll, the victory (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 22-4.

Central Heights and Diboll should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings. Central Heights will challenge Woodville at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday up 336 places (318 vs. 654). Central Heights will be looking to keep their four-game home win streak alive. Similarly, Diboll (ranked 306th) will meet Huntington (ranked 644th) at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
