Soccer Game Preview: Tenino vs. Elma

Tenino is 1-9 against Elma since April of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Beavers are taking a road trip to square off against the Eagles at 7:00 p.m. Tenino has given up an average of 3.4 goals per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Tenino is headed into Tuesday's game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight game on Friday. They lost 7-0 to Raymond/South Bend. While losing is never fun, Tenino can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington soccer rankings (they are ranked 243rd, while Raymond/South Bend are ranked 48th).

Meanwhile, Elma kept a clean sheet against Ilwaco on Wednesday. They were the clear victors by a 4-0 margin over the Fishermen. Elma haven't had any issues with Ilwaco recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Elma's victory bumped their record up to 8-5-1. As for Tenino, their loss dropped their record down to 3-12.
