Baseball Game Preview: Browne Bruins vs. Dobson Mustangs

The Browne Bruins will face off against the Dobson Mustangs at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Browne will be strutting in after a victory while Dobson will be coming in after a defeat.

Having struggled with three losses in a row, Browne turned things around against Tempe on Friday. They put the hurt on the Buffaloes with a sharp 12-5 win. Considering the Bruins have won eight matches by more than six runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Meanwhile, Dobson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 12-2 to Skyline. That's two games in a row now that the Mustangs have lost by exactly ten runs.

Dobson saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jake Dobson, who went 2-for-3 with one run and one double.

Browne's victory bumped their record up to 10-7. As for Dobson, their loss dropped their record down to 6-19.

Browne was able to grind out a solid win over Dobson in their previous matchup back in March of 2022, winning 11-7. Do the Bruins have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Mustangs turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
