Baseball Game Preview: Warren Warriors vs. Parkersburg South Patriots

The Warren Warriors will head out to face off against the Parkersburg South Patriots at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Warren is coming into the contest on a three-game losing streak.

On Tuesday, Warren didn't have quite enough to beat Gallia Academy and fell 6-5.

Braylen Murray was cooking despite his team's loss, going 1-for-3 with one triple and one run. That triple marked the first that he has hit this season.

Meanwhile, Parkersburg South suffered their closest loss since April 24, 2024 on Wednesday. They fell just short of Marietta by a score of 6-4. The Patriots have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Warren's defeat dropped their record down to 6-5. As for Parkersburg South, their loss dropped their record down to 13-9.

Warren might still be hurting after the 10-0 defeat they got from Parkersburg South in their previous matchup back in April of 2024. Can the Warriors avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
