Volleyball Recap: Warner Christian Academy Comes Up Short

Warner Christian Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat. They fell 3-1 to the Menendez Falcons. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Falcons this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 two weeks ago.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-15, 18-25, 25-19.

Warner Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Menendez, their win ended a nine-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-8.

Coming up, Warner Christian Academy will head out on the road to square off against Tocoi Creek at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Toros will roll in looking for their seventh straight victory, something the Eagles surely won't give up without a fight. As for Menendez, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-0 defeat against Creekside on the 15th.
