Basketball Recap: Sioux County Warriors vs. Crawford Rams
Sioux County lost against Crawford back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Sioux County Warriors took a 52-41 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Crawford Rams. The Warriors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Sioux County lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Jack Hunter, who posted 12 points and five steals. Another player making a difference was Logan Monroe, who earned 11 points and eight boards.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Crawford to victory, but perhaps none more so than Abisai Munoz-Salazar, who dropped a double-double with 11 points and 15 rebounds. Those 11 points gave Munoz-Salazar a new career-high. Taylor Homan was another key player, putting up 19 points and three steals.
Sioux County's loss dropped their record down to 6-13. As for Crawford, their record now sits at 8-12.
