Soccer Recap: Northwest Takes a Loss

Northwest managed to keep up with Ladue Horton Watkins until halftime on Tuesday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Lions lost 3-0 to the Rams. While losing is never fun, Northwest can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Missouri soccer rankings (they are ranked 75th, while Ladue Horton Watkins are ranked third).

Northwest now has a losing record of 7-8. As for Ladue Horton Watkins, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 13-1.

Looking ahead, Northwest will venture away from home to face off against Seckman at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Ladue Horton Watkins, they will face off against De Smet Jesuit at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
