It's playoff time, and McPherson had no trouble coming through when it counted. They walked away with a 4-1 victory over the Eudora Cardinals on Friday. The win was just business as usual for the Bullpups, who after eight games remain undefeated this season.

Addison Chapman made a splash while hitting and pitching. She struck out seven batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, getting on base in all four of her plate appearances with one triple and one run.

Chapman wasn't the only one making solid contact as five players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Haely Hagemann, who went 1-for-2 with one run and one double. Rylie Whitfield also deserves some recognition as she brought in her first RBI of the season.

McPherson's victory bumped their record up to 8-0. As for Eudora, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 9-1.

As of now, neither McPherson nor the Cardinals have any future games scheduled.
