Football Game Recap: Touchet vs. Sunnyside Christian

Sunnyside Christian may have failed to reach the 55.14-ppg average they boasted coming into the matchup against Touchet on Friday, but the squad still had enough to get the job done. Sunnyside Christian were gifted an easy win on Friday as Touchet wound up forfeiting 0-2. The margin of victory was a little narrower than expected seeing as Sunnyside Christian are ranked 1048 places ahead of Touchet in the national rankings.

Sunnyside Christian's victory brought them up to 7-1. Touchet are still winless on the season and fell to 0-8.

The teams are both focusing on improving their conference standings in their upcoming contests. Sunnyside Christian will be staying on the road next week, facing off against St. John-Endicott/LaCrosse. Sunnyside Christian are cruising in on a six-game winning streak while St. John-Endicott/LaCrosse are stumbling in off of three consecutive losses. Touchet will stay at home against Colton at 3:00 PM. Colton have averaged 83 points over the course of their past seven games, so Touchet might be in for a challenge.
