Basketball Recap: Gage Jordan Key Part of a Team Effort in Knights/Damsels Win

There's no place like home for Union, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Wednesday. They walked away with a 54-46 win over the Karns City Gremlins on Friday. This was a revenge game for the Knights/Damsels: when they faced off against the Gremlins back in January, they had to take a 66-53 loss.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Union to victory, but perhaps none more so than Gage Jordan, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 15 boards. Jordan is also crushing it when it comes to blocks: he's posted at least two every time he's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Trent Fleming, who posted ten points and seven steals.

Union's victory bumped their record up to 9-12. As for Karns City, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-11.

Coming up, Union and Commodore Perry will face off at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday without much rest having both just played. As for Karns City, they will look to defend their home court on Monday against Keystone at 7:15 p.m.
