Soccer Recap: Georgetown Takes a Loss

Georgetown was the 1-0 winner over Austin when they last played one another back in January of 2021, but their luck changed this time around. The Eagles fell just short of the Maroons by a score of 2-1 on Saturday.

Georgetown's defeat dropped their record down to 4-2. As for Austin, their win bumped their record up to 3-0.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Georgetown will host McKinney Boyd at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Austin, they will look to take advantage of their home pitch for the first time this season as they take on Victoria West at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
