It was a good run, but Vestavia Hills unfortunately witnessed the end of their eight-game winning streak on Tuesday. They took a 50-36 bruising from the Hoover Buccaneers. The game marked the Rebels' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Vestavia Hills' loss dropped their record down to 19-2. As for Hoover, the victory (which was their 15th in a row) raised their record to 20-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Vestavia Hills will take on Hewitt-Trussville at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Hoover, they will challenge Oak Mountain at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
