Basketball Game Preview: Shades Valley Mounties vs. Jacksonville Golden Eagles

Having just played yesterday, the Shades Valley Mounties will jump right back in to play the Jacksonville Golden Eagles at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday.

On Friday, Shades Valley lost to Huffman on the road by a 66-48 margin. The Mounties have struggled against the Vikings recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Jacksonville, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They secured a 45-39 W over Fort Payne on Tuesday. The 45-point effort marked the Golden Eagles' lowest-scoring match of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Jacksonville's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-3. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 69.0 points per game. As for Shades Valley, they now have a losing record at 4-5.
