Volleyball Recap: Admiral Farragut Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Admiral Farragut lost against Saint Stephen's Episcopal back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The BlueJackets fell 3-1 to the Falcons. While the BlueJackets didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Falcons 25-20 in the first set.

Admiral Farragut started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 20-25, 25-17, 25-9, 25-16.

Isabella Pizzarelli paced Admiral Farragut's offense, picking up six kills. Pizzarelli got some help from Leila Bakken and her eight assists. Bakken was also solid from the service line: she led the team with eight aces.

Admiral Farragut's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Saint Stephen's Episcopal, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

Admiral Farragut has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against Universal Academy on the 2nd. Saint Stephen's Episcopal has also already played their next contest (against Parrish Community), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
