Volleyball Recap: Gabby Coronado Key Part of Team Effort in Wolves Win

Estrella Foothills won the last time they faced Cactus and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Wolves put the hurt on the Cobras with a sharp 3-0 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Wolves.

While Estrella Foothills might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Cactus scored at least 20 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-20, 25-20.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Estrella Foothills to victory, but perhaps none more so than Gabby Coronado, who had 18 assists and five digs. With that strong performance, Coronado is now averaging an impressive 12 assists per game.

Estrella Foothills' record now sits at 15-5-5. As for Cactus, their loss ended a five-match streak of away wins and brought them to 15-3.
