Volleyball Recap: South Paulding Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for South Paulding, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. They came out on top against the Oak Mountain Academy Warriors by a score of 2-0 on Tuesday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Spartans also won the last time the pair played back in August of 2022.

The win didn't come easy: Oak Mountain Academy scored at least 18 points in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-21.

South Paulding pushed their record up to 4-1 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. As for Oak Mountain Academy, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Coincidentally, South Paulding and Oak Mountain Academy will both be playing Westlake the next time they take the court. The Spartans will host the Lions at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Warriors will play them later in the day, at 7:30 p.m.
