Soccer Game Preview: Boulder Creek vs. Flagstaff

The Boulder Creek Jaguars will face off against the Flagstaff Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.

Boulder Creek is probably headed into the match with a chip on their shoulder considering Pinnacle just ended the team's ten-game winning streak on Wednesday. They fell just short of the Pioneers by a score of 2-1. The loss put an end to the Jaguars' undefeated start to the season.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Flagstaff). They walked away with a 4-2 win over Lee Williams on Wednesday. The high-scoring effort was just what the Eagles needed considering they were shutout in their previous game.

Having lost for the first time this season, Boulder Creek fell to 10-1. As for Flagstaff, their victory bumped their record up to 3-4-3.

Boulder Creek came up short against Flagstaff when the teams last played back in January of 2016, falling 2-0. Can Boulder Creek avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
