George Ranch took a loss when they played away from home last Tuesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. In a tight matchup that could have gone either way, they made off with a 54-53 victory over Iowa Colony. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Longhorns have posted since December 17, 2024.

Meanwhile, Fort Bend Clements was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Monday as they fell 62-58 to Beaumont United. The Rangers haven't had much luck with the Timberwolves recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Fort Bend Clements' defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for George Ranch, their victory bumped their record up to 3-7.

George Ranch couldn't quite get it done against Fort Bend Clements in their previous matchup back in February of 2024 as they fell 45-34. Can the Longhorns avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
