Baseball Recap: Mark Twain Takes a Loss

After flying high against Wellsville-Middletown on Thursday, Mark Twain came back down to earth. The Tigers came up short against the Silex Owls on Friday, falling 14-2. The Tigers have struggled against the Owls recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive lost matchup.

Mark Twain's loss dropped their record down to 6-6. As for Silex, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-3 record this season.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Silex beat Mark Twain by a score of 14-2 later that day.
