Trinity Valley posted their closest victory since September 2nd on Saturday. They had just enough and edged out the St. Andrew's Highlanders 3-2. That's more bragging rights for the Trojans, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day Trinity Valley got the one that really mattered. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 10-25, 25-14, 18-25, 15-9.

When it comes to explaining why St. Andrew's lost, don't look at Lela Beard. Despite the final result, she had 16 digs.

Trinity Valley's record now sits at 8-13. As for St. Andrew's, their loss ended a ten-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 28-10.
