Football Recap: Romeoville Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Romeoville played a tough matchup on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They took a blow against the Joliet West Tigers, falling 41-10. The Spartans haven't had much luck with the Tigers recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

When it comes to explaining why Romeoville lost, don't look at Richard Conley. Despite the final result, he threw for 214 yards on 18 of 40 attempts, and also punched in one touchdown on the ground.

Romeoville's loss dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Joliet West, their victory bumped their record up to 2-3.

Romeoville and Joliet West could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Illinois Rankings. The Spartans (ranked 321st) will meet Oswego East (ranked 113th) at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Joliet West will challenge Oswego at 7:00 p.m. on Friday with a big rank disadvantage (165 vs. 49).
