Basketball Recap: Oklahoma City S's Win Ends Four-Game Losing Streak on the Road

Central came into Saturday's game looking for another win against Oklahoma City S, but Adam Leonard wouldn't allow it. The Oklahoma City S Storm came out on top in a nail-biter against the Central Braves on Saturday, sneaking past 64-62 thanks in part to Leonard, who went 10 for 14 on his way to 24 points. He continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played.

The team also got some help courtesy of Israel Fugett, who posted ten points and seven boards. What's more, he also racked up two assists, the most he's had since back in November of 2024.

Oklahoma City S's win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 12-22. As for Central, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-9 record this season.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing McLain Science & Tech the next time they take the court. Oklahoma City S will head out to face McLain Science & Tech at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while Central will play them later in the day, at 2:30 p.m.
