Volleyball Recap: Goodman-Pembine Falcons vs. Elcho Hornets
Goodman-Pembine lost against Elcho back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Falcons lost 3-0 to the Hornets. The Falcons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.
While Goodman-Pembine was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Elcho's winning margin in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-21, 25-23.
Lauryn Dwight paced Goodman-Pembine's offense, picking up six kills. Dwight really made an impact as she also led the team in assists with six. Jolie Seidel controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.
Leading Elcho to victory were Kayla Siemers and Rachel Visser. Siemers had nine digs and two aces, while Visser had eight kills and three digs. That's the most digs Visser has posted since back in August.
Goodman-Pembine's loss dropped their record down to 1-18. As for Elcho, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-10.

As for Elcho, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Dodgeville on the 4th.
