Fans got a thrill when James Harding and Zach Ball connected against Bullitt East. The connection went for 55 yards, the longest such play in 6A District 5 this season.

Fern Creek made the biggest leap in the national rankings this week, rising to 3,557 from 4,596. The improvement was largely due to a 35-7 victory over Southern last week.

On the ground Ross Gowing chipped in 97 yards. Elijah Keen helped Oldham County's passing attack out by catching 2 balls for 33 yards.

Gowing was the best running back in the league this week. In 7 carries, he ran for 97 yards as the Colonels fell to the Chargers. Teammate Jonathan Stocking added to the ground attack by rushing for 10 yards.

Oldham County's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Colonels feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Harding has thrown for 513 yards and 3 touchdowns this season, while Ball has 9 catches for 184 yards.

The Tigers led the league in scoring this week after putting up 35 points on the Trojans.
