Basketball Game Preview: Mt. Baker Mountaineers vs. Ferndale Golden Eagles

Mt. Baker is 2-8 against Ferndale since January of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Monday. The Mt. Baker Mountaineers will head out to square off against the Ferndale Golden Eagles at 7:15 p.m.

Mt. Baker is headed into Monday's match looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their seventh straight game on Thursday. They lost 65-39 to Lakewood.

Meanwhile, everything came up roses for Ferndale against Blaine on Thursday as the squad secured a 57-25 victory. The game marked the Golden Eagles' most dominant win of the season.

Mt. Baker's defeat dropped their record down to 6-11. As for Ferndale, they now have a winning record of 9-8.

Mt. Baker lost to Ferndale on the road by a decisive 53-34 margin when the teams last played back in December of 2023. Can Mt. Baker avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
