They came out on top against the Southern Fulton Indians by a score of 74-61 on Friday. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Mountaineers as it put an end to their four-game losing streak.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Berlin Brothersvalley to victory, but perhaps none more so than McKelvey Foor, who went 8 of 13 en route to 22 points in addition to six boards and three steals. Those 22 points gave Foor a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Joseph Richardson, who went 7 for 12 on his way to 20 points and six rebounds.
Southern Fulton's loss came despite strong showings from Gaven Mellott and Trentin Cain. Mellott went 7 of 12 en route to 18 points along with seven steals and six boards, while Cain went 9 for 16 on his way to 24 points. Another player making a difference was Kaiden Schriever, who posted seven points.
Berlin Brothersvalley's victory bumped their record up to 5-9. As for Southern Fulton, they have also traveled a rocky road recently having lost seven of their last nine games, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-10 record this season.
