Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Stringer walked away with it. They came out on top against the Sebastopol Bobcats by a score of 4-1 on Monday. This was a revenge game for the Red Devils: when they faced off against the Bobcats on Saturday, they had to take a 5-3 loss.

Stringer is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 14-16 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.5 runs on average over those games. As for Sebastopol, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 15-13.
