Baseball Recap: Sparta Takes a Loss

Sparta was the 4-3 winner over Fordland when they last played one another back in April of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. Sparta fell 5-2 to Fordland on Monday.

Braylen Luttrull was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while going 2-for-3. Those two stolen bases gave him a new career-high.

Sparta's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Fordland, the victory keeps they at an undefeated 5-0.
