Softball Recap: Rockvale Takes a Loss

Rockvale's last matchup with Oakland could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's game on Monday. Rockvale came up short against Oakland, falling 19-2. The loss continues a trend for Rockvale in their meetings with Oakland: they've now lost seven in a row.

Rockvale's defeat dropped their record down to 6-13. As for Oakland, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-5-2 record this season.

Rockvale does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Oakland, they will challenge Blackman at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Patriots' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Blaze have averaged an impressive 8.8 runs per game this season.
