La Grange extended their winning streak to nine games thanks to a huge performance from Clayton Cooper. The La Grange Leopards simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat the Smithville Tigers 84-13 thanks in part to Cooper, who almost dropped a double-double on 16 points and nine steals. He has been hot, having posted two or more steals the last seven times he's played.

Another player making a difference was Cole Collier, who went 5 of 8 to rack up 14 points. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in shooting accuracy (63%).

La Grange pushed their record up to 23-8 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.2 points over those games. As for Smithville, they are on a 17-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-23.
