Volleyball Game Preview: Plainfield Cardinals vs. Roselle Catholic Lions

The Plainfield Cardinals will face off against the Roselle Catholic Lions at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Plainfield will be strutting in after a win while Roselle Catholic will be coming in after a loss.

It was a proper cat-fight when Plainfield challenged Linden on Friday. The Cardinals came out on top in a nail-biter against the Tigers, sneaking past 2-1.

Meanwhile, Roselle Catholic unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Roselle last Thursday.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-8, 25-0.

Plainfield has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-2 record this season. As for Roselle Catholic, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-1.
