Hemingford won the last time they faced Gordon-Rushville and things went their way on Saturday too. The Hemingford Bobcats came out on top against the Gordon-Rushville Mustangs by a score of 70-62.

Despite the defeat, Gordon-Rushville saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Case Scheenen went 9 for 15 on his way to 24 points and five steals. The dominant performance gave Scheenen a new career-high in steals. Another player making a difference was Kannon Leeper, who posted ten points along with five assists and five steals.

Hemingford is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 11-8 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.8 points over those games. As for Gordon-Rushville, their loss dropped their record down to 6-14.
