Softball Recap: Hoke County Bucks vs. Lee County Yellow Jackets

They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 5-4 win over the Lee County Yellow Jackets on Tuesday. That's two games straight that Hoke County has won by just one run.

Adriana Miller spent all nine innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned (and three unearned) runs on nine hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't pitched less than five innings in six consecutive pitching appearances.
