Baseball Recap: Blackfoot Broncos vs. Hillcrest Knights
It may have taken nine innings to finish the job, but Blackfoot ultimately got the result they hoped for on Monday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Hillcrest Knights, sneaking past 14-13. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Broncos have posted since March 16th.
Jagger Wren made a big impact no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, tossing three innings while giving up no earned runs off three hits. He also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Blackfoot is 2-1 when he allows at most one earned run, but 4-6 otherwise. Wren was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-4 with one run and one RBI.

In other batting news, Blackfoot got a massive performance out of Kaeden Fisher, who got on base in four of his six plate appearances with four runs and one RBI. Those four runs gave Fisher a new career-high. Jake Vance also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.
