Basketball Recap: Lac qui Parle Valley Takes a Loss

After some red-hot attacks on offense in their last 15 matches, Lac qui Parle Valley finally came back down to earth on Tuesday. They took a blow against the Dawson-Boyd Blackjacks, falling 105-30. The defeat continues a trend for the Eagles in their matchups with the Blackjacks: they've now lost eight in a row.

Lac qui Parle Valley's loss dropped their record down to 10-16. As for Dawson-Boyd, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 13 games, which provided a nice bump to their 18-3 record this season.

Looking ahead, Lac qui Parle Valley will take on Kerkhoven-Murdock-Sunburg at 7:30 p.m. on February 18th. As for Dawson-Boyd, they will face off against Central Minnesota Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Both teams are coming into the contest red-hot, with Central Minnesota Christian sitting on six straight victories and Dawson-Boyd on seven.
