Basketball Recap: S'riyah Bostick's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Johnson County over Hancock Central

Johnson County was the 59-38 winner over Hancock Central when they last played one another two weeks ago, but their luck changed this time around. The Johnson County Trojans took a 57-52 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hancock Central Bulldogs.

Johnson County lost on Friday despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was S'Riyah Bostick, who dropped a double-double with 14 points and 14 rebounds. She has been hot for a while, having posted eight or more boards the last 11 times she's played. Another player making a difference was Ziyah Lewis, who posted 12 points along with eight rebounds and five assists.

Hancock Central's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Tylecia Tucker, who went 7-for-10 on her way to 17 points.
