Baseball Game Preview: Coronado Dons vs. Dysart Demons

Coronado hasn't had much luck against Dysart recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Dons will host the Demons at 3:45 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Coronado couldn't beat Maryvale on Friday even though they stacked four runs on them in the third inning. The Dons lost 15-5 to the Panthers.

Dysart couldn't beat Yuma on Thursday even though they stacked four runs on them in the sixth inning. The Demons came up short against the Criminals, falling 14-7. The Demons have struggled against the Criminals recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.

Nathan Sinclair Delgado was cooking despite his team's loss, going 1-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. Dysart is 4-1 when Sinclair Delgado posts two or more runs, but 4-9 otherwise.

Coronado's loss dropped their record down to 2-14. As for Dysart, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-10.

Coronado couldn't quite finish off Dysart in their previous matchup back in April of 2025 and fell 6-4. Can the Dons avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
