Baseball Recap: Columbus North Gets the Win

Columbus North posted their closest win since April 9th on Monday. They won by a run and slipped past the Shelbyville Golden Bears 9-8. The Bull Dogs have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Golden Bears, too.

The team relied heavily on Brock Kintner, who went 3-for-4 with five RBI, two runs, and one stolen base. Columbus North is undefeated when Kintner posts two or more runs, but 3-8 otherwise. Jack Whaley also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.
