Baseball Game Preview: Phillips Bears vs. Vina Red Devils

The Phillips Bears will challenge the Vina Red Devils at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with nine consecutive losses apiece.

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Phillips' offense. They lost 20-0 to Hackleburg on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, Vina also failed to score in their most recent game. They came up short against Lynn on Tuesday, falling 14-0.

Vina's loss dropped their record down to 3-12. As for Phillips, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-12.

Everything went Phillips' way against Vina in their previous matchup back in April of 2022, as Phillips made off with a 12-2 victory. Will the Bears repeat their success, or do the Red Devils have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
