Basketball Recap: Canon-McMillan Gets the Win

If Connellsville wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Canon-McMillan, they should've done a better job of containing Samantha Miller. The Canon-McMillan Big Macs blew past the Connellsville Falcons 62-32 on Thursday thanks in part to Miller, who posted 18 points and five steals. She continues to improve, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played.

Lauren Borella was another key player, putting up 11 points along with five boards and three steals. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in shooting accuracy (80%).

Canon-McMillan's record is now 12-8. As for Connellsville, they dropped their record down to 2-14 with the loss, which was their fifth straight at home.

Looking ahead, Canon-McMillan will challenge Montour at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Connellsville does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
