Soccer Recap: Ennis Comes Up Short

Ennis was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They came up short against the Corsicana Tigers, falling 4-0. While losing is never fun, the Lions can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 510th, while the Tigers are ranked 217th).

Ennis' defeat dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Corsicana, their victory bumped their record up to 8-4.

Ennis wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next match, a 3-0 loss against Kaufman on the 14th. As for Corsicana, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next game, a 4-1 win against Crandall on the 14th.
