The biggest upset of the week belonged to Gilbert-Northwestern Regional, who took down 102nd ranked Canton, 21-0.

Coventry/Windham RVT/Bolton was the team that gained the most ground in the standings this week, jumping from fifth to third in Pequot - Uncas. The Patriots beat Windsor Locks/Suffield/East Granby 47-14 earlier in the week.

6-foot-4 quarterback Curtis Field of Granby Memorial is the league leader in passing yards this season with 921. He has also thrown six touchdowns. On the ground, Avon's Colin Moore has rushed for 1234 yards which leads the league. The leading receiver in the league this season is Tommy Myers. The Coventry/Windham RVT/Bolton star has 22 catches for 439 yards.

A big matchup in the league this week will be when Enfield takes on the Falcons. The Raiders are in fifth place, while Avon is in second place.

Ellington/Somers extended the longest winning streak in Pequot - Uncas this week by beating Enfield, 21-0. The victory was the seventh in a row for the Knights.
