The Roy Royals will challenge the Bountiful RedHawks at 5:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
Roy is headed into the contest out to prove that what happened against Woods Cross on Friday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. Roy was outmatched by Woods Cross and fell 58-30. That's two games in a row now that the Royals have lost by exactly 28 points.

Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the best came from Jerzee Hart, who posted eight points along with ten rebounds and eight blocks. She has been hot recently, having posted eight or more boards the last four times she's played. Ariana Strain was another key player, putting up ten points and five rebounds.
Meanwhile, Bountiful waltzed into their match on Friday with 11 straight wins... but they left with 12. They walked away with a 42-35 win over the Falcons.
Roy better keep an eye on Taylor Harvey. She was instrumental in Bountiful's win, going 7 of 12 to rack up 19 points in addition to seven boards and four steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Mae Johnson, who almost dropped a double-double on nine points and 16 rebounds.
Bountiful was working as a unit and finished the game with ten assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Clearfield only racked up four assists.
Bountiful's victory was their ninth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 18-2. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.9 points over those games. As for Roy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-13.
Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: Roy has been crashing the boards this season, having averaged 30.6 boards per game. However, it's not like Bountiful struggles in that department as they've been averaging 33 rebounds. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge.
Roy was dealt a bruising 59-23 defeat at the hands of Bountiful in their previous meeting back in January. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Bountiful's Milika Satuala, who went 10 for 15 on her way to 22 points and three steals. Now that Roy knows the damage she can cause, will they be able to stop her this time? Check MaxPreps.com after the match to find out.
