Volleyball Recap: Sunrise Mountain Miners vs. Durango Trailblazers
There's no place like home for Sunrise Mountain, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Thursday. They blew past the Durango Trailblazers 3-0 on Wednesday. The Miners not only won on Wednesday, but they posted their biggest win since March 13th.
Sunrise Mountain never let Durango on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-22, 25-16.
Camron Egbo Cruz paced Sunrise Mountain's offense, picking up ten kills. Egbo Cruz got some help from Jayonie Pace and his 16 assists. Pace also made an impact serving: he shared the team lead in aces with Jobani Lozada, racking up two apiece.
