Archbishop Mitty took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Menlo-Atherton Bears. The win continues a trend for the Monarchs in their matchups with the Bears: they've now won five in a row.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-13, 25-13.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Archbishop Mitty will host Branson on September 6. As for Menlo-Atherton, they will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against Palo Alto at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
