Basketball Recap: South Fork Comes Up Short

South Fork lost against Hoopa Valley back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The South Fork Cubs fell to the Hoopa Valley Warriors 63-59. The Cubs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Hoopa Valley's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Brandon Romero, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and 11 boards. Brian Richards was another key player, putting up nine points and six boards.

South Fork's record is now 9-6. As for Hoopa Valley, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-4.

South Fork will host Hayfork at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Hoopa Valley, they will head out to challenge Modoc at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
