Kings Christian won the last time they faced Laton and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Crusaders came out on top against the Mustangs by a score of 3-1. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Crusaders.

Kings Christian had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 7-25, 25-22, 25-19, 25-20.

Avery Mathis paced Kings Christian's offense, picking up 17 kills. Mathis got some help from Bobbi Vickers and her 30 assists. Vickers was also solid from the service line: she led the team with seven aces.

Kings Christian's victory bumped their record up to 4-9. As for Laton, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-11.

Kings Christian has already played their next contest, a 3-1 win against Wonderful College Prep Academy on the 2nd. As for Laton, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Riverdale Christian on the 2nd.
