Pe Ell snaps three-game streak of losses at home

Recap: Pe Ell Trojans vs. Willapa Valley Vikings

The Pe Ell Trojans had to endure a six-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They came out on top against Willapa Valley by a score of 43-32 on Tuesday. This was payback for Pe Ell, who suffered a 57-44 loss the last time these two teams met.

Willapa Valley lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Lucas Lusk, who scored six points. Another player making a difference was Nathan Fluke, who scored eight points along with seven rebounds and two steals.

Pe Ell's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-10. As for Willapa Valley, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost six of their last eight contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-8 record this season.

Pe Ell will stay at home for another game and welcome Three Rivers Christian at 5:45 p.m. on January 18th. Three Rivers Christian is hoping to put an end to a five-game streak of away losses. As for Willapa Valley, they will head out on the road to square off against Mossyrock at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
